Dropbox only allows 2 GB free space when someone creates an account with them. But DropBox is generous enough to offer free space for those with friends who can sign up as their referrals. DropBox offered 250 MB of free space for each referral someone got, but now, they have doubled it. Dropbox has recently doubled up the storage space for referrals from 500 MB to 1 GB.
If you’ve got a free account, you can invite up to 32 people for a whopping total of 16 GB of extra space. Pro accounts now earn 1 GB per referral, for a total of 32 GB of extra space.
