2 Awesome Free iPad Music Apps For All
By: Karan Goel | 17th June 2010
Two things that make the Apple iPad, and the two other mobile devices, unique and worth a buy are art and music – they have the advantage of a big screen. Earlier, I wrote about Draw For iPad, a doodling app.
This time, it’s about the latter. Here are two free Music apps for the iPad.
Shiny Drum

Shiny Drum is one of the easiest to use Music apps. Even if you’re all thumbs when it comes to playing an instrument you’ll probably be able to tap out a rhythmic beat with this app.
Soundrop Free

Soundrop is an app that creates xylophone-like tapping sounds based on how you draw lines. The fun of this app is experimenting with the various creations you make based how you draw the handles and add to them.
Let us know about free music creation apps, that you have fun with on your iPad.

Couple of good apps there. SoundDrop is fun, but I don't find very useful from music perspective. How ever Shiny Drum quite the opposite it's great for generating rhythm ideas and such.

Just tried Shiny Drum, it's fun, even for someone like me who doesn't nor have tried to play the drums.
