3 Sites With Games To Learn Foreign Languages Interactively
By: Karan Goel | 14th June 2010
I remember: I took up French as an option for ‘Third Language’ when I was in 6th Grade. Just in 2 years I felt that French was not for me. The classes were boring and all stuff went miles above my head. Finally, I had to leave it!
Mastering a new language can be a very tedious work. But, that’s okay when we have the Internet. Just like the games to teach children ABC and numbers, games to teach foreign languages also exist.
Here are 3 best ones.
Digital Dialects

When I first stumbled upon Digital Dialects, I was amazed. This comprehensive website offers free to use interactive games in over 50 different languages; and according to the site, language sections are updated regularly and new sections are under development.
LanguageGames

LanguageGames.org offers a few games you might find interesting. These consist of a word search, crossword puzzles, and hangman. They offer all of the most common languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian.
Vocabulary.co.il

This website has multiple games having to do with foreign language vocabulary. There are word matches for English, French, German, and Spanish, as well as a common foreign phrase meaning game, a Spanish math game, and a Spanish/English color match game.
I hope you found this article useful and you are off learning a new language.
