(Pic Proof) Twitter Defaced By Iranian Cyber Army
by Karan Goel
Yes, they have done it again. Twitter is down again. Earlier, it was a DDOS attack. According to , DDOS means:
A distributed denial of service attack (DDoS) occurs when multiple systems flood the bandwidth or resources of a targeted system, usually one or more web servers. These systems are compromised by attackers using a variety of methods.
This time the site has been hacked by the “Iranian Cyber Army”. The possible time, that the attack tool place was 12 a.m. December 18th. It’s been approximately 12 hours since Twitter is down, but no traces of it’s revival are seen.
The message, after the defacement, read this:
Iranian Cyber Army
THIS SITE HAS BEEN HACKED BY IRANIAN CYBER ARMY
iRANiAN.CYBER.ARMY@GMAIL.COM
U.S.A. Think They Controlling And Managing Internet By Their Access, But THey Don’t, We Control And Manage Internet By Our Power, So Do Not Try To Stimulation Iranian Peoples To….
NOW WHICH COUNTRY IN EMBARGO LIST? IRAN? USA?
WE PUSH THEM IN EMBARGO LIST ;)
Take Care.
A friend of mine, tool a screenshot of the hacked site:

No part of the site, except , is working. , the Twitter blog that reports about the Twitter uptime and downtime notices, is also down.
This is the second major defacement attach on Twitter in the past 4 months. This is raising issues about the site’s security flaws. There are more possible loopholes in the Twitter security that might be exploited to extract the personal data of Twitter users.
The scale of the hack seems to be really big and as of now, it can be assumed that Twitter is completely compromised.
